Hello
I'm Samantha Green,
a Play Therapist and Child Counsellor with a passion for promoting and enhancing the wellbeing of children and families.
Childhood experiences lay the foundations for one's life, highlighting the importance of early intervention for children who are facing social, emotional and behavioural challenges. Helping children realise their potential involves helping them overcome these challenges, process and make sense of thoughts, feelings, traumas, experiences and life changes. In my work, I aim to help children learn, heal, grow, build resilience and develop skills to help them cope better with their future.
My Qualifications and Experience
I completed my Bachelor of Social Science Degree at The University of Cape Town (UCT), majoring in Psychology, Organisational Psychology and Sociology. I then stayed on at UCT to complete my Honours Degree in Psychology.

I have completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Therapeutic Play Skills, a Postgraduate Diploma in Play Therapy, and am currently completing a Masters in Play Therapy though Leeds Beckett University. I also have additional training in Early Developmental Trauma, Circle of Security Parenting and Filial Play Coaching.
